In the afternoon of 19th Jan 2010, Chairman of Siam City Cement Public Company Mr. Philip visited the Site of WHR power generation project, contracted by Sinoma energy conservation Co., ltd.

Mr. Philip was accompanied by Project Manager Mr. Prapan, Site Consulter Mr. Bill, Safety Consulter Mr. Guy, Safety Team Leader Mr.Sumrit, Project Manager of Sinoma EC Mr.Hou YaoGuang and Site Manager of Sinoma EC Mr.Jiang XiangDong.

Mr. Hou YaoGuang (Project manager of Sinoma EC) introduced specifically to Mr. Philip on states of site safety and construction related to sub-system project. When seeing that not only SINOMA personnel were directing construction works of sub-contractors earnestly and inspecting construction quality attentively, but also sub-contractors were working vigorously, Mr. Philip was satisfied and appreciated the hard work of SINOMA personnel very much. With the supervision of site personnel of SINOMA, impressive transfiguration had taken place on the construction schedule, he said, at present, the project had come to the key point, everybody was expected to arrange works meticulously for sustaining the good development trend, so as to accomplish the project and power generating as soon as possible.

Mr. Hou YaoGuang said to Mr.Philip, in order to speed up the construction schedule, Siam project department of Sinoma EC had guided every subcontractor to work overtime, meanwhile, they inspected every construction procedure earnestly to ensure the construction quality and to achieve the project target smoothly.

After site visitation, Mr.Philip received outstanding personnel on safety work of WHR project and awarded certificate of merits and prizes to them. Site safety manager of Sinoma EC Mr.Duan Baoshan won the award, besides, the safety management work of Sinoma EC to subcontractors also won the praise of Mr.Philip.

Safety manager and safety engineers rushed among the construction sites everyday to correct unsafely operation of workers and inspect potential safety hazard at site. All the members of project department also took safety works as their own responsibilities, so they regulated themselves to carry out safety regulations. Through the efforts of all the staff, the safety works of Siam WHR project had been up to safety standard of HOLCIM Groups, which is extremely strict. Furthermore, the site safety management was obtained owner’s highly speaking and praised by owner many times, which established an excellent corporate image for Sinoma Energy Conservation Company at a foreign country.
